- Spec also offers OAuth (has_advanced_auth); personal access token chosen per both-options rule. repositories is a required top-level field identifying what to read, so it is kept even though it borders on stream selection. branches/branch/repository (deprecated), start_date and max_waiting_time skipped as sync tuning.

| Personal access token | GitHub personal access token. Multiple tokens can be entered separated by commas to spread API quota. |
| Repositories | GitHub organizations or repositories to read, e.g. org/repo for one repository or org/* for all repositories in an organization. |
| API URL (optional) | Base URL of a self-hosted GitHub instance. Leave empty for github.com. |
