Terms of service
Last updated 26 September 2026. These terms are an agreement between Jourier Oy, business ID 3620860-4, Helsinki, Finland ("Jourier", "we") and the company on whose behalf you use the service ("you", "the customer"). By continuing with a Microsoft or Google account, or with your e-mail address, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for your company.
The service is offered to companies and organisations only, not to consumers.
1. The service
Jourier is a hosted platform for data, analytics and AI. It reads data from the systems you connect, stores it in a workspace dedicated to your company, and presents it as reports, dashboards and answers at your workspace address. Access to the platform is free. Modules such as FP&A, Sales, Marketing, Monitoring, Atlas and AMK Tutka, and the AI API, are activated per workspace and priced separately. Custom development, and deployment of a solution to your own cloud, are agreed and priced per project in a separate agreement.
The service is hosted in Helsinki, Finland. The security page describes how it is built, and the privacy policy describes what happens to personal data and which service providers we use.
2. Accounts and access
You sign in with a Microsoft or Google work account, or with your work e-mail address and a password. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes on our servers in Finland. People on your verified e-mail domain become members of your workspace; your administrators decide who else gets access and what each person may see. Access granted to people outside your domain ends on the date you set, ninety days by default.
You are responsible for the people you admit and for what they do in the workspace. Tell us at once if you believe an account has been misused.
3. Trial and fees
A new workspace starts with a free trial of one month. During the trial you can activate modules and connect systems without payment. At the end of the trial the workspace continues only if you activate a paid plan; otherwise it is archived and later deleted as described in the privacy policy.
Prices are shown when you activate a module and apply per workspace per month, excluding VAT. The AI API is charged by use, as described in section 5. We invoice monthly in arrears. Invoices are due in 14 days. Late payments carry interest under the Finnish Interest Act. We may change prices with 30 days' notice by e-mail to your administrators; the new price applies from the next billing period.
4. Your data
The data in your workspace stays yours. You give us the right to process it only to provide, secure and support the service. We do not sell it, share it with other customers, or use it to train models.
You are responsible for having the right to connect the systems you connect and to process the data they contain. Where that data includes personal data, our data processing agreement applies and forms part of these terms.
You can export your data from the workspace at any time. Integration credentials are kept in a vault that only your workspace can read.
5. AI features and the AI API
Some features use language models to produce answers, summaries and research. Answers may be incomplete or wrong. You remain responsible for checking them before making decisions. How the data involved is processed is described in the privacy policy.
AI usage is subject to a daily allowance per workspace. When it is reached, the feature pauses until the next day.
The AI API at api.jourier.dev gives programmatic access to the models Jourier runs on its own servers in Finland. Keys are created in the workspace by its members and belong to your company; keep them secret, and revoke a key at once if it may have leaked. Each key has a daily token limit and rate limits. After a period without use the model may take a few minutes to answer the first request. Prompts and responses are not stored.
The AI API is charged per workspace by use: €0.42 per million input tokens and €3.00 per million output tokens, with a minimum of €1.00 for every started clock hour, Helsinki time, in which the workspace's keys made at least one accepted request, and a minimum of €5.00 per month once the workspace holds an active key. Token charges count towards the hourly minimum; the higher of the two is charged. Prices exclude VAT.
6. Atlas
Atlas is a register of Finnish companies compiled from public sources. It is provided as is. We do not guarantee that any entry is complete, current or correct. When you use Atlas data to contact people or companies, you are responsible for complying with data protection and marketing law.
You may use Atlas data within your workspace and in your own business. You may not resell it, republish it as a dataset, or use it to build a competing register.
7. Your own front end
If you connect a repository to run your own interface, the interface we write into it is licensed to you under the MIT licence and stays yours. Code you add is your responsibility. We build and serve it in a sandbox and may disable a build that harms the platform or other customers; disconnecting returns the workspace to Jourier's interface at once.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, or to store or spread harmful content. You may not probe or test the security of the service without our written permission, try to reach another customer's workspace, or work around usage limits.
You may not extract data from the platform in bulk or by automated means, in any case and by any route: not through the interface, not from the browser's network traffic, not through the API beyond its documented limits, and not through any other way. Data from the platform, including Atlas, may not be resold, licensed, published or passed on to a third party without Jourier's written permission.
We may suspend access that breaks these rules and will tell you why.
9. Availability and support
We keep the service running, backed up and secured, and fix problems as fast as we reasonably can. We do not promise uninterrupted availability. Planned maintenance is announced to your administrators in advance where practical.
Support is by e-mail at aleksi.stenberg@jourier.com. A person reads it the same working day.
10. Confidentiality
Each party keeps the other's non-public information confidential and uses it only for the purposes of this agreement. This survives the end of the agreement.
11. Liability
Neither party is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, lost revenue, or loss of data that the other party could have prevented by exporting it. Jourier's total liability under this agreement is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply to wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or to breaches of confidentiality or data protection obligations.
Reports and answers are built from the data your systems provide. Decisions made on them remain your responsibility.
12. Term and termination
The agreement runs until either party ends it. You can end it at any time from the workspace; the current billing period is the last one invoiced. We can end it with 30 days' notice, or at once if you break these terms, fail to pay after a reminder, or if continuing would create a security risk for other customers.
After termination you have 14 days to export your data. The workspace is then archived and deleted as described in the privacy policy. Deletion is irreversible.
13. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms with 30 days' notice by e-mail to your administrators. If you do not accept a change you may end the agreement before it takes effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the change.
14. Law and disputes
Finnish law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are settled in the District Court of Helsinki.
