- OAuth2 client-credentials style flow with static, pasteable credentials (no authorization redirect). Token endpoint is {zone base URL}/oauth/access-token with grant_type leaddesk_client_id, e.g. https://restapi-nor.leaddesk.com/stable for the NOR zone. An older 'Original API' also exists that uses a 32-character identification code issued by LeadDesk support.
What you need at hand

| LeadDesk customer ID | Your LeadDesk customer ID number. |
| API zone | The zone your account runs in; verify it from the REST API URL shown on the Admin Settings > API page. |
