- tunnel_method and replication_method are in the spec's required list but default sanely (no tunnel; user-defined cursor / xmin; CDC needs a replication slot + publication if chosen later). SSL mode defaults to require. Spec also supports Azure Entra service-principal auth (entra_client_id, entra_tenant_id, password used as client secret) as an alternative for Azure-hosted Postgres.
