- Requests are authenticated with ApiId + timestamp (yyyyMMddHHmmss) + signature query parameters, where signature = Base64(HMAC-SHA256(ApiId + timestamp + request JSON, ApiKey)). Separate credentials can be created for test and production. Vendor materials indicate the API is included in the Pro and Premium editions.
What you need at hand

| API ID | Unique company identifier, created in Passeli Merit under Program Settings > API Settings. |
| API key | Secret key created together with the API ID in Program Settings > API Settings; used to sign requests and must be kept confidential. |
